Created to mark the 20th anniversary of the House, the Moderniste collection reinvents gold through the prism of contemporary architecture.
In this collection, architectural lines are reversed, perspectives are inverted, and volumes assert themselves with force. Each creation becomes a miniature structure, a sculpted world to wear on the wrist or in the palm of the hand.
With Moderniste, Messika pushes the boundaries of traditional luxury jewellery. Geometric shapes interact between softness and tension, creating a striking contrast.
Diamonds have always been at the forefront of my life, but I wanted to explore gold as a material in its own right. I envisioned a jewel conceived as sculpture, not accessory, one that exists in three dimensions.
