Ballade Collection

Tissot Ballade – Classic elegance driven by Swiss precision

Inspired by the original Ballade launched by Tissot in 1994, the Ballade collection revives an emblematic model of the House in a contemporary interpretation.

Reintroduced in 2024, the Ballade retains the elegant spirit of its heritage while incorporating the demands of modern watchmaking. Its balanced proportions, fluted bezel, and exquisitely finished dials create a silhouette that is both classic and contemporary.

With Ballade, Tissot offers a watch designed to endure for years without losing its character.

A collection bridging heritage and modernity

Title

A history dating back to 1994

The Ballade holds a special place in Tissot's history. First launched in 1994, it embodied a modern vision of watchmaking. Three decades later, the collection finds new expression, faithful to its identity while benefiting from the technical advancements of the Maison.

This continuity gives the Ballade a unique personality: that of a watch inspired by the past, but designed to accompany the present.

The fluted bezel as a signature

The fluted bezel is one of the distinctive features of the Ballade collection. Its finely sculpted edges add relief to the case and enhance the elegant character of the watch.

Dials designed to capture light

Ballade dials combine legibility and refinement. Depending on the model, their sunray finish creates variations of light that change with the movements of the wrist. The silver, blue or green hues each bring a different personality, while the Roman numerals reinforce the collection's classic inspiration. On automatic versions, the hands and indexes also benefit from Super-LumiNova®, allowing a clear reading of the time in different lighting conditions.

Collection signatures

An elegant silhouette with multiple interpretations

The Ballade collection comes in several sizes, offering different interpretations of its aesthetic. COSC-certified automatic models are available in 30 and 39 mm, while quartz versions include 34 and 40 mm. This variety allows for exploration of the collection through different proportions, while maintaining the characteristic codes of the Ballade.
The cases are made of 316L stainless steel, with PVD finishes on some references, allowing for two-tone versions. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating is also featured on the different models in the collection.

Accuracy at the heart of the COSC Ballade

COSC automatic versions prioritize precision. The 39mm models are equipped with the Powermatic 80 movement, offering up to 80 hours of power reserve. The 30mm versions use the Powermatic 48, with up to 48 hours of power reserve.

COSC certification distinguishes these movements for their precision. It is based on rigorous controls carried out over several days according to criteria defined by Swiss chronometry.

Precision-engineered mechanics

Tissot Ballade automatic watches combine Tissot's mechanical expertise with technologies designed to provide high daily precision.

The movements in these models benefit from COSC certification, which attests to their precision according to the requirements of Swiss chronometry. They also incorporate a Nivachron™ balance spring, designed to improve their resistance to the effects of magnetic fields.

Depending on the model, the movement offers up to 48 or 80 hours of power reserve. The automatic Ballade models also feature a transparent case back, allowing the mechanical movement on the back of the case to be observed.

A bracelet that evolves with your style

The Ballade collection also places great importance on the bracelet.

The models concerned feature an interchangeable quick-release bracelet, making it easy to change the watch's appearance.

The five-row steel bracelet extends the classic elegance of the case, while offering the possibility of exploring other styles depending on the occasion.
