Waterproofing designed for adventure

The Seastar range offers water resistance ranging from 300 meters (30 bar) for the Seastar 1000 models up to 600 meters (60 bar) for the Seastar 2000 Professional. This performance is made possible by a screw-down case back, a screw-down crown, and a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, ensuring resistance to pressure during actual immersion. Some professional models even incorporate a helium escape valve, designed for saturation diving.

Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal

The Seastar collection is equipped with a synthetic sapphire crystal, renowned for its excellent scratch resistance. More durable than standard mineral glass, it effectively protects the dial and helps maintain optimal readability over the years. Depending on the model, an anti-reflective coating further enhances reading comfort in brightly lit environments.

A 316L stainless steel case

The Tissot Seastar case is crafted from 316L stainless steel, a marine-grade alloy renowned for its resistance to corrosion, shocks, and saline environments. Depending on the reference, the diameter varies from 36 mm to 46 mm, offering options suited to both slender wrists and fans of imposing watches. Some models feature ceramic or PVD finishes (black, blue, yellow gold) for an even sportier and more modern look.
